At The Backyard Lifeguard, our mission is simple: to keep your children safe while they enjoy unforgettable moments in the pool. Whether it’s a birthday party, holiday gathering, or neighborhood event, our certified lifeguards are trained to ensure every splash is surrounded by peace of mind.
What sets us apart? Our team is made up entirely of student-athletes—current high school and college students who have a background in competitive swimming, diving, or water polo. These are not just trained lifeguards—they’re disciplined, highly skilled aquatic athletes who understand the water on a deeper level.
Every Backyard Lifeguard is certified by the American Red Cross and selected not only for their credentials, but for their character. Many are familiar faces in their communities—young leaders that parents can trust and kids can relate to.
1 hour: $50
2 hours: $100
3 hours: $125
4 hours: $150
5+ hours: $200

*There will be a $20 fee in the event of a non-weather related cancellation within 3 days of the scheduled job date*
The payment method is through Venmo and the transaction will occur after the service is complete.
Yes, for the past few summers, there have been numerous instances where a child required a lifeguard to jump into the water and perform an active save. Thankfully, there have been zero substantial injuries.
